WHAT YOU ARE RENTING

One unit that loads, hauls and unloads

In Mexico this equipment goes by several names — grúa HIAB, grúa articulada, camión con grúa, Munck, knuckle boom. They all describe the same thing: a flatbed truck with a folding hydraulic arm. The practical consequence is that you do not need to hire a separate crane at destination, and you do not need a forklift waiting on site.

Ours is a 2025 model with few operating hours (make Fassi, model F245 — full spec sheet, in Spanish), mounted on a new truck with GPS and cameras. The crane is never rented without an operator — that is not a policy we bend. The operator is DC-3 certified and comes included in the quote.

Nominal values. The exact load-versus-reach curve is confirmed in the quote, with the real weight and height of your piece. If you want to check a specific lift, the Spanish page has an interactive lift checker.

THE REST OF THE FLEET

Transport from 1 to 15 tonnes

The crane truck is one unit of an owned fleet — not subcontracted. If what you need is the haul rather than the lift, the ladder is: 1 t van (dry box), 3.5 t van (stake bed), 5.5 t dry box truck with hydraulic ramp, 8 t flatbed (rabón), 14 t truck (tortón) and a 15 t flatbed tortón with an 8.00 × 2.50 m deck and removable stakes.

Owning the units is what makes the combined service possible: the same truck that carries your equipment is the one that places it, so there is one provider, one schedule and one person responsible if something goes wrong.

LIMITS, STATED UP FRONT

What we will not take

We would rather lose a job than take one with the wrong equipment, so these are the two boundaries, in writing:

  1. Lifting stops at 5 tonnes at the truck. Above that the maneuver needs a telescopic crane. We can still transport the piece — up to 15 t — and coordinate the lift with the right equipment, but we will tell you when you ask, not when the truck arrives.
  2. No oversized loads. That kind of haul requires escort vehicles and special permits, and we do not have them. If your piece fits within legal transport dimensions and weighs up to 15 t, it is our job.

Compliance, for buyers who have to document it. REPSE registration, personnel enrolled in IMSS, operators with DC-3 certificates, GPS across the fleet and cameras on the crane unit. Routing on toll highways. Experience working under PEMEX, CFE and GE site protocols. If your procurement team needs the paperwork before approving a vendor, we send it with the quote.

HOW TO QUOTE

What we need from you

No published rates, because no two maneuvers are alike: the same unit can unload a transformer in the metro area in the morning or drive across the country with a sculpture. What is fixed is the response time — a written quote with a breakdown, within 2 business hours — and the five things the price is built from: origin and destination, time on site, weight and reach, site conditions, and whether we also haul the load.

To quote we need the weight and dimensions of the piece, the height or distance it has to be placed at, the exact site address, and any access or schedule restrictions. Send that and the proposal comes back the same business day.
